Many activities are included in your booking at Les Etangs de la Bassée. It’s up to you to choose between sports, water-based activities, relaxation and nature.

With our 340,000 m² grounds, Les Etangs de la Bassée is the perfect place to take part in all sorts of water-based sports and activities. Between boating, paddleboarding, swimming and splashing around, take advantage of our ponds to engage in a multitude of aquatic leisure activities.
- BOAT EXCURSIONS
Make the most of the boats which are available on our nine ponds to enjoy quality time with your travel companion(s). A must-try activity in any season.
- PADDLEBOARDING
We also offer our holidaymakers the use of paddleboards for wonderful outings on the ponds. Suitable for all ages and all skill levels, this activity is only possible at certain times of year.
- SWIMMING & SPLASHING AROUND
From our sandy beaches, make the most of naturally filtered water to take a dip. Bear in mind that there are no lifeguards, and swimming is only permitted in specific areas.

- BOULES
Courts are available for friendly matches in multiple locations.
- BADMINTON & BEACH-VOLLEY
A badminton and beach volleyball court awaits you for lively matches by the water’s edge.

If you’d rather, you can also play table tennis (paddles provided) and table football on the property.
- PLAYGROUND
You’ll find a playground set up with a trampoline and other play structures for your little ones, plus a football pitch where you can have a blast.
- TRAILS
Take advantage of the property’s trails to run foot races or go hiking. Or you can opt to hurtle along them astride your bicycle!
- COACHING
You can also book one or several sessions with a coach (not included in your booking) for your sporting activities like yoga, pilates and running.

Our various beaches are accessible so you can make the most of the property in a tranquil setting. Lifeguards not provided.
- PONTOONS
Our pontoons are available for a bit of relaxation by the water.
- SUN LOUNGERS & SWING SEATS
For your well-being and your comfort, you’ll appreciate our green areas featuring lawns, parasols and sun loungers – everything you need to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Between its nine ponds, the property is teeming with white fish like roach, bream and tench! Still fishing is on us during your stay, and we’ll gladly lend you a fishing pole!
The team at Les Etangs de la Bassée offers a fun activity that’s included in your booking (at a lodge or villa): an introductory lesson on still fishing. Introductory fishing lessons are mainly taught on the pontoons located on the property’s ponds. The fish must be thrown back in the water where they were caught, once your session is over.
This fishing technique is accessible for anyone, from beginners to seasoned fishers. Kids, teens and adults are welcome.

The property is very attentive to the local flora and fauna, so we have adopted an eco-responsible strategy for the business. We even offer fun, educational activities to help you learn about our environment!
- AVIARY
Meet the birds (chickens and ducks) at the aviary, a place that’s sure to delight young and old alike. You can even collect fresh eggs there, to enjoy during your stay! Geese and ducks roam freely about the property, so you can watch them up close in their natural environment!
- BEEHIVES
Our beehives, which should be observed from a distance, provide us with deliciously golden honey that’s harvested by our beekeeper. Stop by reception to purchase some for yourself!
- VEGETABLE GARDEN

- PEDAL-CARS
Pedal cars are available for hire from reception, so you can explore the property’s most beautiful spots and wind between the ponds to catch glimpses of the plants and animals that call them home!
